Klahoose CCP
As we get closer to the official fall weather, Klahoose Chief and Council have once again made firewood available to Elders and Klahoose members. Six logging truck loads of seasoned fir have been delivered to IR# 7 in Squirrel Cove.
Local Cortes resident, Floyd Anderson has been working with Klahoose member, John Hanson to deliver the wood to local residents. Wood burning is the most common form of heat source for the winter months in Squirrel Cove. The wood heat is essential especially when power outages occur.
