Subject: FN1068-LICENCING - Shellfish Aquaculture Licence Holders List

Shellfish aquaculturists and Shellfish processors are reminded that on December
19, 2010 existing BC Ministry of Agriculture aquaculture licences are no longer
in effect.

Effective December 19, 2010 anyone wishing to conduct aquaculture activities in
British Columbia is required to hold a valid Federal Aquaculture Licence issued
pursuant to the Fisheries Act and Regulations.

By close of business on December 17, 2010 a list of Federal Shellfish
Aquaculture Licence holders can be found on the following DFO website:

This list will be updated on a regular basis.
