Area C and Area B Z2ACL commercial clam harvesting licenses are now available from the Klahoose Fisheries Office at Klahoose Village. Contact me directly.

AREA C Z2ACL
There are three Area C licenses up for a lottery draw. You must be a Klahoose Band member to be eligible for the Area C licenses. Leave your name with my office messaging system if you are interested in this lottery draw. Details of the draw will be forthcoming. Area C licenses allow you to harvestclams during and on Savary Island ONLY commercial openings. You are also elidgable to harvest during an AREA C PROPER commercial opening. See you local DFO office for maps of the designated areas.

AREA B Z2acl
There are 23 Area B licenses available to Klahoose band members and/or designates.

Area B licensing allows you to harvest wild beaches on Cortes Island, Twin Island and beaches on Quadra Island. For greater detail of the designated areas check with your local DFO office.

Please note that the Areas known as Mansons Lagoon and Inner Squirrel Cove are closed throughout the year. You will also become familiar where private lease beaches and their boundaries are.
