NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS
pursuant to section 4.2 of the Indian Band Election Regulations (CRC, c. 952)

Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Klahoose First Nation
that a meeting for the purpose of taking nominations will be held:

Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
at the Klahoose First Nation Multi-Purpose Centre
Squirrel Cove, Cortes Island, BC

Nominations will be taken for one (1) Chief
to serve the balance of the current term expiring April 9, 2013.

Any elector may nominate, second or run for this seat.
Nominations may be made either in person at the nomination meeting or by mail.
Nominations by mail received after the opening of the nomination meeting are void.

*The poll will be held at the Klahoose First Nation Multi-Purpose Centre
on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Any elector may vote either at the poll or by mail-in ballot.

Electors resident on-Reserve may request a mail-in ballot by personally contacting the Electoral Officer.

Electors resident off-reserve whose addresses have been provided will automatically be sent mail-in ballots on September 9, 2011.
