Troy Ballel, owner of TTMP Construction is pleased with the progress thus far. “We are glad to be working here at Klahoose. We understand the importance of this project and enjoy the people we have met here.”
TTMP employee’s have been working long hours with little rest to make sure the foundation is completed on schedule. Site Supervisor Rob Pretty and Manager Terry Favel have been laying out the framework of forms that are nearly complete from wing to wing.
The project has now employed three Cortes workers as well as Klahoose Band Members. As the project moves forward, the opportunity for band members to join the work force will increase in the many phases of construction. An on-the-job carpentry apprentice program is in development which will be available for Klahoose membership to join.
