New timbers being delivered to the site

Klahoose CCP
The rain continues and so does the work on the new Klahoose Multipurpose building.
The arrival of the new timbers that will be used for the framework brings us closer to the next phase of the project.

At the moment the crews of TTMP construction are braving the winds and rain to make sure all the fine details of the foundation are in order. "Its exciting to see the progress", says band manager Bev Hills.

The new 6 million dollar structure will be the new home for the administration, social programs and health departments of the Klahoose First Nation. The project to date has set new standards of construction feats on Cortes Island. The improved infrastructure and the boost to the local economy is a welcomed change.
Unemployment at Klahoose has decreased and the opportunities for other local workers is on the rise.
