The new Klahoose Canoe shed is nearing final completion. Kevin Peacey and volunteer Allen Lentz have been working on this project and along with the renovations around the Klahoose community.
After the final touches are complete, the new community use area will house the Klahoose dug out and will also be an area for community gatherings such as ceremonies and public events.
An opening ceremony is planned to coincide with the opening of the new Klahoose Multipurpose Centre in the spring of this year.
